Janet at City of Raleigh 4th of July Celebration.

"GREAT NEWS"

We have been identifying likely voters across the district, and it shows
that Janet has a solid lead and is within striking distance of avoiding a
runoff.  However there are still a significant number of undecideds, and it
is critical that work hard to turn out the vote.

"NOW IS THE TIME"

We need your help for the final Push.

1.) Canvassing - We will meet at Janet's at 201 Grand Ave both Saturday's at
10:00 am and Tuesday at 5:30.  These are our organized times, but if you can
get out any other time during the last week e-mail Perry at
perry@perrywoods.com and he will make arrangements to get you list and
materials.
2.) Postcards - If you can not canvass, we are sending hand written postcards
to frequent voters.  Contact Jennifer Bumgarner to get list and postcards at
jlbumgarner@bellsouth.net.
3.) Election Day Poll Greeters - It is critical that we have poll greeters
at as many precinct as possible on election day.  This is essentially just
holding a sign, and thanking people for voting.  You can have material to
hand out, but mostly, it is just having a smiling face connected to the
candidate as the last thing people see before they vote.  If you can work a
couple of hours in the morning, lunch or the evening, contact Jonathan Ducote at jlducote@unity.ncsu.edu.
